America’s favorite maverick secret agent is back on the small screen in CBS’ MacGyver reboot, and the show’s stars Lucas Till and George Eads are telling all about bringing the legendary character back to life.
In the new show, Lucas plays a young Angus ‘Mac’ MacGyver, while George plays his ex-CIA agent sidekick Jack. Lucas, 26, wasn’t even born when the original series debuted in 1985, but he’s enthusiastically rocking the signature mullet, and told Rachael he draws inspiration from his MacGyver-like dad.
Watch below to see Rach put the actors’ real-life MacGyver skills to the test when she challenged them to build an airplane with a random assortment of junk in 60 seconds or less!
MacGyver airs at Fridays at 8/7c on CBS.
