“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star Rachel Bloom stopped by to chat with Rach and they ended up talking about shopping, of course, trading stories about what they bought with their first Hollywood-style paycheck. Rachael says hers was very Italian – she and her mom bought Prada shoes. For Rachel, it was an $800 tiara to wear on her wedding day. And what happened next made her second guess that purchase, “We made a pilot for Showtime and it was passed on, and I went, ‘Why did I buy you ?” [to the tiara] “Instant regret.’”
But the pilot went on to get picked up by The CW and Rachel, who first found fame on YouTube, jokes, “And I now have millions of headpieces, my house is just covered in rhinestones.”
Rachel also talked about her offbeat Golden Globes photo op after winning last January for “Ex-Girlfriend”: “They ask you to kiss the Golden Globe. So I basically French-kissed it.”
