Actor Yanic Truesdale plays one of the most beloved characters in Stars Hollow, concierge Michel, and he sat down with Rach to talk about the experience of bringing “Gilmore Girls” back for Netflix.
“It was crazy for us to go back because you have to remember, everything was destroyed. So when we went back, they had to rebuild everything from scratch. So it was a surreal moment for us,” he says.
“It’s been hard to deal with everyone’s disappointment of the show coming back,” Yanic jokes, adding, “People are so into the show, it’s so amazing for us. Sometimes it feels like I’ve given them like, a kidney or something!”
He was also surprised by the age of some of their newer fans: “At a recent “Gilmore” fan event, it seemed like everyone was 19!,” says Yanic.
