And if there's one thing the "Today" show's longtime weatherman loves most about the season, it's this.

"The only reason I go apple picking is for the hot cider donuts," says Al.

"Oh, YES!" Rach agrees.

He turns to the audience, "Have you ever had hot cider donuts?"

Cue the uproarious applause — we sure have, Al!

"He doesn't even care about the apples!" says his wife, Deborah Roberts, laughing.

Nope! "HOT CIDER DONUTS!" he insists.
