Actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba is stopping by to talk with Rach about everything from her natural products from The Honest Company, to her involvement with nonprofit FoodCorps, to what healthy foods she feeds her own kids.
Jessica, like most busy moms, wants to get healthy food into her kids. She shared two of her family’s favorite healthy treats.
Jessica involves her two daughters, Honor, 6, and Haven, 3, when she makes these delicious popsicles. She doesn’t just include sweet ingredients, making sure to mix in greens or herbs like basil so that her kids get a nutritional boost and develop an adventurous palate.
Jessica’s pizza is super kid-friendly, as she cuts pizza slices with cookie cutters to make fun shapes like stars and hearts. She even gets her kids to try jalapenos when she adds it as a topper!
Jessica co-founded The Honest Company in 2012 with Chris Gavigan, and the company has grown to feature over 120 products and employ over 350 people in the U.S., and has recently expanded into feeding products for babies and children. Watch the video above to see Jessica talk about the company’s success, and also to see the amazing work done by FoodCorps and a special surprise for one FoodCorps servicemember.
