Chef Jacques Pepin is no stranger to our show -- and when he visited last, we couldn’t help but give him a little backstage challenge!
In his new book, “A Grandfather’s Lessons: In the Kitchen with Shorey,” you’ll find a how-to on making a pig out of a lemon. So naturally, we had to see how it’s done. (Hint: He uses pepper corn for the eyes!)
And the fun didn’t stop there!
Shorey went on to challenge her grandfather to make as many animals he possibly could with the fruit in front of him in our prep kitchen -- and he sure rose to the occasion.
Our favorite of the lot? The swan he made out of an apple. Stunning!
