When Robin and Ron were in high school in 1967, they found out Robin was pregnant.

"I didn’t know what we were going to do," Robin says. "We were way too young."

After receiving counseling from a priest, Ron says, he and Robin decided the best decision was to give little Suzy up for adoption, as they weren’t quite ready to be parents.

"The last time I saw Suzy, she was wrapped in a little pink blanket," Robin says.

Well, ever since Suzy’s biological sister Shannon learned about Suzy before starting high school, she always had the urge to find her.

So, in 2005, she looked to the internet for some help -- and she came across a familiar face!

"I found a high school picture of [Suzy] online, and it was a spitting image of my mother and myself all in this one picture," Shannon recalls. "I knew it was her."

Shannon went on to find Suzy on Facebook, and she sent her a message. Suzy says she read the message three times before she could believe her eyes.

"Then I pulled a picture up of Shannon," Suzy remembers. "And that’s when I freaked out."

Naturally, the sisters had to meet. And when we heard about their story from a viewer, we had to share it with all of you.

"We’ve been waiting 42 years for this," Ron says. "I am thrilled."

And as Suzy reassures her biological mom and dad, there are no hard feelings between them.

"In my heart -- and this is in my heart -- there’s nothing to forgive about," Suzy says. "Because I truly don’t have any ill feelings for the situation."

"I had a great life [and] I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on anything," she continues. "I feel like this is a new beginning."
