You've probably heard of DIYing a shiplap wall to add a textured statement wall in your home -- but have you ever heard of using quarters for the project?

Well, "Seeking Lavender Lane" home decor blogger Deb Foglia does just that -- and we think it's so clever!

She places quarters in between the quarter-inch pieces of plywood that she buys at her local hardware store to create just the right (and uniform!) amount of space.

(Pro tip: When hanging the wood, she starts at the top of the wall!)

Then, she simply nails the pieces of plywood into the wall with a hammer and paints over them.
