Looking for some new exercise inspiration? Yoga instructor and busy mom of three little ones, Hilaria Baldwin (who just had her third baby with hubby Alec Baldwin in September) has some surprising suggestions for working healthy habits into your daily routine.
Hilaria gets the struggle many busy parents face.
“I don’t go to the gym very regularly. Now that I have three kids, I don’t have time. … I take these ten minute little blocks during the day and I do different exercises, they’re call ‘found moments workouts,’” she says.
Bending over and vacuuming backwards? Contorting your legs behind your neck while you type on the computer? Doing leg lifts while reading a book or checking your phone? These are all exercises that you can work into your ordinary tasks, she explains.
Watch the video above to see Hilaria’s wild poses, and to see co-host Emeril improvise an exercise with his wine glass in hand!
More exercises, recipes and time-saving tips, can be found in Hilaria’s new book, The Living Clearly Method: 5 Principles for a Fit Body, Healthy Mind & Joyful Life.
When it comes to making meaningful change in your life, she says, “That comes from living in the moment, living clearly, waking up so you can make choices that serve you in the moment, so your life unfolds the way that you want it to.”
Bid on a yoga class in NYC with Hilaria here. 100% of the proceeds from all eBay auction packages will benefit her favorite nonprofit, Bent On Learning - an organization committed to teaching yoga to New York City public school children (bidding ends January 6th at 2pm PT/5pm ET).
