Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • Juice from 1 grapefruit
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 head bok choy, shredded
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 1 grapefruit, segmented (reserve two for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup frisee, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Combine buttermilk and grapefruit juice with garlic and ginger. Toss together with remaining ingredients and let sit for 20 minutes before serving.
