It’s that time of year – it’s cold and flu season and it's cold outside! Whether you just need a comforting bowl of soup to warm you up, or whether your family is under the weather and needs tender loving care, these four soups will make you feel like you’re wrapped in a warm blanket!

Emeril Lagasse's Simple Chicken Noodle Soup

If you had to pick one chicken soup recipe with you to a secluded island, this would be the one to take! Emeril starts by cooking a whole chicken in water with celery, carrots, onions and herbs. He strains the solids out, reserving the beautiful, dark flavorful stock. He then uses that stock to craft a simple but nutritious and delicious soup with the chicken!

Italian-Style Chicken Noodle Soup

Rach makes this soup Italian style by adding a parmesan cheese rind for added flavor, and using broken bucatini instead of noodles. Yum!

Rick Bayless' Mexican Chicken Soup

This flavorful soup is cooked in the slow cooker, so it couldn’t be easier! Mexican flavor is added via cilantro, avocado and lime juice.

Kelsey Nixon’s Lemon Chicken Quinoa Soup

This healthy chicken soup features protein-rich quinoa and pre-cooked rotisserie chicken, so it’s healthy and easy! Additional layers of flavor are brought in via lemon zest and canned fire-roasted tomatoes.
