After all that New Year's Eve reveling, it's important to eat a substantial (and of course delicious) breakfast! We have 9 absolutely decadent options that will get 2016 started right!

No. 1: Eggs in Purgatory

This warm, comforting spicy egg dish from Scott Conant is a cheerful option. Scott makes a complex, spicy red sauce, which he pours into serving dishes and adds poached eggs. He tops with parmesan cheese and then cooks in the oven under the broiler.

No. 2: French Toast

Rocker Sammy Hagar makes a classic French toast and says that you can “be your own boss” when it comes to the toppings, meaning, top it with whatever you like! He likes to go simple with just real maple syrup, but his wife likes to add berries.

No. 3: Creamy Polenta with Poached Eggs

Bobby Flay serves a perfectly poached egg on a nest of wilted greens over creamy polenta, topped with a drizzle of chili oil. Great, healthy but elegant option!

This extremely creative way to serve eggs with eggplant would be perfect to serve at an upscale brunch. First, you make little eggplant parm rounds, then top with prosciutto, wilted greens, a poached egg, and a cheesy béchamel sauce. Yum!

No. 8: Chef Anne Burrell's Stuffed French Toast

This truly decadent choice is the perfect New Year's Eve hangover cure! Anne makes sandwiches of white bread, grated Gruyere, and a pre-cooked filling that includes tomato, bacon onion and more, then dips them in an egg mixture and grills. She tops with a sunny side up egg and chives – beautiful!

No. 9: Bob Harper's Greek Yogurt Waffles

If your New Year's resolution is to eat healthier, start with New Year's Day breakfast! Fitness pro and Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper makes a delicious waffle that is also extremely healthy. He uses rolled oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt and coconut oil, among other ingredients, to make this delicious treat.
