  • 2 ounces bourbon (will also work well with dark rum, aged tequila, brandy or other brown spirits)
  • 1 ounce Galliano (can substitute other liqueurs such as vanilla, cherry, orange, Chartreuse)
  • 2 ounces honey
  • 8 ounces strong brewed coffee
  • Orange and lemon peels
  • Baking spices (such as star anise, allspice, cinnamon)


Serves: 1 cocktail


Dissolve honey into the coffee in a pot on the stovetop. Add in spices and steep over low heat. Add bourbon and Galliano, strain out spices and serve in a mug. Garnish with an orange slice studded with cloves.
