Ryan mixes up cream cheese, chives, sour cream and Dijon mustard, and spreads it on a piece of ham on top of a rectangle of puff pastry. He then adds mozzarella and pepperoncini and closes the “pocket,” spreads with egg wash and toasted seseame seeds, and bakes. For a decadent finish, he serves his pockets with a ranch dipping sauce.

This dip will be a home run at any time of year, but especially during baseball season! Ryan starts with a base of cream cheese, sour cream and mayo, then adds scallions, both smoked and regular mozzarella, crisp chopped bacon, roasted green chiles, then bakes it all in a pie plate. Right before serving, he adds lemon juice-dressed romaine spears, roasted cherry tomatoes, grilled avocado wedges and Ritz crackers. Yum!
