Ingredients
- 8 ounces block firm feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- sprig thyme, A few
- sprig rosemary, A few
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes or pink peppercorns, crushed
- Crackers, for serving
Yield
Serves: 6 servings
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place the feta on a small baking sheet or in a small casserole dish. Pour the olive oil over the top and coat. Place the whole herbs on top of the feta. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together honey and crushed red pepper flakes.
Remove the feta from the oven and set the oven to broil. Remove the herbs and reserve to garnish. Drizzle the honey all over the feta.
Place under the broiler and broil until top is a little brown, about a minute.
Remove from oven, top with crispy herbs and serve warm with crackers.
