Turn your eggs into a tasty, Instagram-ready breakfast with this recipe for Cloud Eggs from Instant Pot-obsessed blogger Jeffrey Eisner of pressureluckcooking.com.
Jeff shows you how to make hard boiled eggs in an Instant Pot here.
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- One pinch salt
- ½ cup grated cheese (Jeff recommends ¼ cup of parmesan and ¼ cup of pecorino Romano)
Yield
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450˚F with a rack positioned in the center. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate egg yolks and whites, placing the egg whites in a mixing bowl and separating the yolks into individual small bowls or ramekins.
Add salt and white pepper to the egg whites and beat with an electric mixer, starting at low speed and slowly increasing until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the cheese, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
Using a large spoon, spoon 4 dollops of egg whites onto the prepared baking sheet. Using the back of the spoon, create indentations in the center of each dollop. Bake on center rack for 3 minutes.
Add each egg yolk to the indentation of each egg white and bake for 3 minutes more. Serve immediately.
