Easter-themed sprinkles and candy carrots add a festive touch to this easy white chocolate bark rec from former staffer and current "Entertainment Tonight" digital host Hallie Stephens.

For pastel bark, use pastel food coloring, pastel sprinkles and pastel chocolate Easter eggs.

Easter basket idea: Wrap up this sweet treat by arranging the bark in a berry basket filled with crinkle paper. Then, tie a piece of twine around the basket with a gift tag labeled "Easter Bunny Bait."

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • Green food coloring
  • Green and orange sprinkles
  • Candy carrots

Yield

Serves: Makes 1 basket

Preparation

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate in the microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread with a spatula until ¼-inch-thick. Dot with green food coloring and create a swirly pattern using a butter knife or toothpick. Top with sprinkles and candy. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.

Using a knife, carefully break chocolate into large chunks for chocolate bark.
