Good for breakfast, snack or dessert, these healthy no-bake energy bites from MasterChef Jr. contestant Matthew Smith last up to one week in an airtight container.
The last time Matthew visited our show, he made a delicious Warm Tomato Salsa with Rainbow Chard Stems.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry oatmeal
- ½ cup flax seeds
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- ⅔ cup coconut flakes
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch salt
- ½ cup agave
- ½ cup almond butter
Yield
Serves: Makes about 12
Preparation
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in vanilla, agave and almond butter. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Roll into bite-sized balls.
