Bobby Flay finishes this pomegranate-tequila cocktail with a splash of smoky mezcal.

  • Ice cubes
  • 1 ounce reposado tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce mezcal
  • ½ ounce pomegranate molasses
  • ½ ounce sweetened pomegranate juice
  • Club soda, chilled
  • Orange peel , for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish


Serves: 1


Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, mezcal, pomegranate molasses and pomegranate juice and shake well for 10 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with an orange peel and top with a few pomegranate seeds.
