This roasted cabbage by "Family Dinner" host Andrew Zimmern couldn't be simpler or tastier. Roasting at such a high temperature brings out the cabbage's sweetness and nuttiness, and softens the interior while lightly charring the edges. Andrew loves to serve it with his take on Chicken Marbella and Creamy Root Vegetable Puree.
Be sure to catch him on Season 2 of "Family Dinner" streaming on discovery+ and the Magnolia app.
Preheat the oven to 500°F.
Place the cabbage wedges on a sheet pan and coat both sides of each wedge with oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 10 minutes, then flip each wedge over and continue roasting until nice and charred, about 10 minutes more.
