Thai basil and chiles from Rach's latest MYOTO dish — Thai Chicken with Basil & Peppers — inspired her husband John's Thai Martini.


  • 3 to 4 thin slices Thai chile (such as Bird's eye)
  • 4 leaves Thai basil, plus 1 for garnish
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon or lime juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup 


Serves: 1


Muddle chiles and basil at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, shake well with ice, then strain into a chilled martini glass or coupe. Garnish with the basil.
