Giuliana & Bill Rancic On The Time Giuliana Tried To Cook Bill Dinner — & Melted The PAN

Giuliana and Bill Rancic might own six restaurants together, but Giuliana insists the cooking gene skipped a generation in her family.  

"When we first started dating, she lived in an apartment, and she wanted to make me dinner," Bill tells Rach. "She was going to make me a pasta dinner, and she put the water on — and then she went and took a nap."

"It gets better! It was an electric cooktop [and] it had actually melted the pan. I had to replace the electric cooktop. It's like $2,000 — and I didn't even get a dinner out of it!"
