"Going Too Far?" with Chelsea Handler

The outspoken star of *Chelsea Lately* takes plenty of shots at celebrities, but Rachael asks Chelsea Handler if there's a limit to whom she puts under her comic microscope. "I'm not making fun of Jennifer Garner -- people who act responsibly and are normal, nice people," she explains. "I'm making fun of Paris Hilton and Amy Winehouse and Lindsay Lohan, and they deserve it!" One "celebrity" encounter Chelsea would not like to repeat was with President Obama. "I met him at one of the dinners," she says. "I had such a great time with him and he said, 'Oh, I love your show.' I went, 'What?' I couldn't believe he even knew who I was! And I have this little Mexican sidekick on my show Chuy, and he said, 'Where's Chuy?' Oh, my god! I'm like, Chuy doesn't even know who Barack Obama is! I don't ever want to see him again because nothing will top that experience!" Chelsea and Rachael realize that they both waited tables, but they had very different experiences. "I hated waiting tables so much," says Chelsea, "because the way people treat people when they walk into a restaurant can be awful. When somebody is spending 40 minutes trying to decide what they're going to have for lunch -- a meal they're not going to even remember in two weeks -- it's like, you need to be smacked in the face. And people need to chew with their mouths closed, you need to say 'please' and 'thank you,' and look your waiter in the eye -- they're human beings."
