This Woman Gives Flea Market Finds a Chic Upgrade for Her 111-Year-Old Fixer Upper

Creative YouTuber MaCenna shows how she upgrades flea market finds for her 111-year-old "fixer upper" Texas cottage—from a fireplace mantel to an old phonograph cabinet she uses as a bathroom vanity.

"I was looking for a while at flea markets for a vanity and I came across an old phonograph cabinet. It was built in 1901, which is insane. So, I was like maybe I could turn that into a vanity—we could put some granite on it, drop a sink in, so that's exactly what I did," says Macenna.

"I was able to cut off the top so that we could make space for a drop-in sink. After lightly sanding, I was able to stain it and then we used the same granite, a portion of the slab, that we were using in the kitchen in the bathroom as well," she adds. How cool!
