When Rachael & John's beloved dog Isaboo passed at the end of May, Rach penned a sweet tribute, encouraging pet adoption and vowing to ultimately welcome a new pet into her and John's home in Isaboo's honor.
"We will open our home and our hearts to another animal in need, because that is what Izzy would want," Rach wrote.
And now, she and John have done just that. Meet puppy Bella Boo Blue! ?
Can you handle how cute she is?!
"Happy Adoption Day to Bella Boo Blue ? who we welcome to our family today," Rach wrote.
"She loves how we roll! (...in the outdoor carpeting ?) Look at those baby BLUES? ?"
The name, of course, is a nod to Isaboo — which combined Rach's favorite name, Isabella, with the name of her first dog, Boo — and Bella Boo Blue's gorgeous baby blue eyes.
To celebrate, Rach and John had an Adoption Night dinner (adorable, right?), which included Masala Spatchcock Chicken, Grilled Paneer & Veggies, Pea + Potato Samosas, Ginger & Curry Succotash, Mango Chutney, Raita and Green Chili Sauce. Yum!
As for Bella Boo Blue, she had minced chicken and naan bread with a spoonful of yogurt to celebrate.
We can't wait to meet you, sweet girl!
