But have you tried French bread pizza — topped with French onion dip?!
Well, then, friends, you haven't lived.

After test-driving the goods on our Facebook Live chat, Grant Melton — who, as viewers know, is a member of Rach's amazing culinary team — whipped up three French bread pizzas layered with French onion dip.
And believe us: They are most definitely worth the effort!
You start by making the French onion dip (get Grant's recipe here!). Then, pick your dream pizza from the list below — straight up with cheese, mixed with greens or embellished with sausage and bacon.

White French Bread Pizza with French Onion Dip
Slather quartered French bread with French onion dip and top with Gruyère and Parm. Sprinkle with minced garlic, chopped fresh thyme and parsley, and bake at 400°F to brown and bubbly.

Green and White French Bread Pizza
Sauté chopped spinach or Swiss chard with garlic in olive oil; season with juice of 1/2 lemon, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cool and drain excess liquid from greens then combine greens with 1 cup leftover French Onion dip. Slather mixture across quartered leaves of French bread, top with shredded Gruyère and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Bake at 400°F to golden and bubbly; garnish with chopped parsley.
French Bread Pizza with Sausage and Bacon
Lightly brown and render 3 to 4 ounces each lardons (1/4-inch batons of thickly cut bacon) and drain. Top quartered loaf of French bread with leftover French onion dip, Gruyère, bacon lardons and thinly sliced Sauçisson (French garlic sausage.) Bake at 400°F to golden and bubbly; garnish with finely chopped scallions or chives and parsley.
