Cassie Baker from North Brunswick, New Jersey is 66 years old and is ready to wear makeup for the first time in her life! Yep, you read that right -- she didn’t even wear makeup on her wedding day (not that she ever needed it!).

Baker’s been divorced about 10 years now, and wants to get back into the dating scene.

“I just don’t have the confidence right now in how I look,” says Baker. “I want to feel as good on the outside as I do on the inside.”

Makeup artist Cynde Watson not only gave her a makeover, but also a crash course in natural makeup.

Get her tips below for nailing a “natural” look, and check out the video above to see Baker’s gorgeous transformation!

Step 1: Cleanse + Moisturize
This will give you the perfect canvas for makeup since moisturizer helps smooth out the skin.

Step 2: Apply Foundation
Do this using a foundation brush. You can figure out your perfect shade by choosing three similar shades and testing them on your jawline. The shade that disappears is your perfect shade.

Step 3: Add Concealer
You can find your perfect concealer shade by going one shade lighter than your foundation. Check out the video above to see how she draws a triangle shape with the concealer to help “lift” the eyes.

Step 4: Set the Look With Powder
Watson says powder is an important step because it helps set your makeup. APply it using a loose, beveled puffy brush so it fits into the contours of your face.

Step 5: Use Bronzer + Blush
By drawing a “3” shape along the side of your face starting from your forehead, cheek, down to your jawline, you’ll have the perfect contour. See how Watson did it in the video above. Then apply blush right on the apples of your cheeks.

Step 6: Apply Eyeshadow
Use an angled eyeshadow to apply your shadow. Swipe it along the socket and on the lid. One neutral shade will do.

Step 7: Add Eyeliner
Watson has a simple trick for applying powder liner: along the lashline, make a dot on the inner corner of your eye, a dot on the outer corner, a dot on the lid, and then just connect the dots! Easy!
