Camila McConaughey, mom of three, entrepreneur and Women of Today founder, is a whiz at creating fun, inexpensive and easy treats for Halloween. Rach calls her white chocolate-banana ghosts "one of the tastiest, most delightful things." If you want the ghosts to look like they are flying, serve them in jars or glasses filled with chocolate pieces.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, peeled and halved crosswise
  • Melted white chocolate (enough to coat and decorate the bananas)
  • 12 candy eyeballs

Yield

Serves: 6

Preparation

Insert a stick into the cut end of each banana half. Lay the bananas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer until completely frozen, at least several hours and preferably overnight.

Place most of the white chocolate into a medium bowl and the rest into a small piping bag or resealable plastic baggie with a corner snipped off. Dip each banana into the bowl of chocolate and coat completely, then return to the parchment-lined baking sheet until the chocolate is set. (You can refrigerate them to speed the process, if you like.)

Put a drop of white chocolate on the back of each eyeball and affix 2 on each banana toward the top and next to each other. Decorate the bananas with zig zags of white chocolate to resemble strips of white cloth. Serve when the chocolate is set.
