John created this cocktail to go with Rach's soul-warming weeknight meal of Tuscan-Style Chicken Cacciatore with Polenta and Tre Colore Salad. The star of the drink is Lambrusco, an Italian sparkling red wine that Rachael loves.


  • 3 ounces Lambrusco 
  • 2 ounces Aperol
  • A couple dashes of orange bitters, optional
  • Blood orange wheel, for garnish


Serves: 1


Add the Lambrusco, Aperol and orange bitters to an ice-filled wine goblet and stir gently. Garnish with orange wheel.
