To go with Rach's "Dijon-aise" fish dinner, John made this super-citrusy take on the classic English Pimm's Cup cocktail. "The fun part about Pimm's Cups," says John, "is that you can garnish them with a whole bunch of different things: apples, cucumbers, citrus, mint..." You can use so many garnishes that your cocktail "overfloweth," or just choose a couple from John's list below. Either way, according to Rach, the drink is "very yummy, honey!" 

Pro Tip from John: If you don't want to buy a bottle of Pimm's No. 1 Cup liqueur, you can substitute it with this combo of alcohol that you are more likely to have already: 1 part gin, 1 part red vermouth and ½ part Curacao or other orange liqueur.


  • 2 ounces  Pimm's No. 1 Cup liqueur (see Tip above)
  • ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ½ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce fresh orange juice
  • 4 ounces ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
Garnish Options:
  • 4 mint leaves, plus 1 large sprig
  • 2 seedless cucumber spears
  • 1 lemon wheel
  • 1 lime wheel
  • 1 orange wheel
  • Raspberries, blackberries or other assorted berries


Serves: 1


Add the Pimm's, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice to a Collins glass.  Add ice and soda and stir to chill. Add the garnishes of your choice and a straw.
