Grammar Expert Travels Across Country to Connect Strangers Through Love of Words

With the belief that words are “beautiful and bind us as human beings,” author and writing expert Ellen Jovin is on a mission to answer all of your questions about the written language at her “Grammar Table.”

"My whole professional life has been about words. I've either written professionally or taught writing and grammar for a living. I've studied 25+ languages... If you run out of grammar in English, you just go to another language and there's more grammar to think about," says Ellen.

Ellen travels across the country to talk to strangers about punctuation, pronunciation, and other grammar-related issues that may be bothering them at work or in their personal lives.

“I like to think of myself as a public utility on the street,” she says.

Now, she's been to all 50 states to share her knowledge and passion with everyone she meets.

Watch the video above! Plus, Ellen gives our audience a 3-question grammar quiz—can you pass it?
