Especially when it comes to your dishwasher, you might think that because you're filling it with soap and it's literally cleaning your dishes, you're all set. Not so! You should be cleaning out your dishwasher every once in a while — and here's how.

To clean your dishwasher, just fill up the soap section with distilled white vinegar and run a cycle, says chef Geoffrey Zakarian

"Vinegar is great. It's a number one all-purpose cleaner," Rach agrees.
