Dog owners know that haircuts for their pets can get pricey. So, if there's a product that can help us save money by grooming our pups at home, we want to get our hands on it.
The Neabot P1 Pro Professional Pet Grooming Kit and Vacuum claims to collect 99% of pet hair into a vacuum container while trimming and brushing hair, so there’s no more tangled hair and no more piles of fur spreading all over the house.
Lifestyle expert and salon owner Gretta Monahan is bringing back our "Human Lab" where we have viewers try products to see if they really do what they claim.
Our viewer, Jackie from New York City, and her adorable pup Holly who "sheds like crazy" wanted to give this product a try.
"I've had Holly for about two years now. Her shedding drives me crazy because her hair gets all over the place—on the couch, on the rug—so I constantly have to be cleaning up after her," says Jackie.
"I take her to the groomers every 6 to 8 weeks, but it's really expensive. Her haircuts are more expensive than mine," she shares.
So, she was the perfect pet-owner to try this product out.
"I've never seen anything like this before. If this works, I think it would be super for me and Holly—and it would save me a lot of money," Jackie explains.
And after Jackie gave it a try, she joined us in the studio to share her thoughts on the product.
"It's such a cool product. When we tried the brush on Holly, she was a little squirmy, but it did work. It sucked up her hair and we really liked it. When we tried the trimmer, the noise scared her and she didn't like it as much. But I think in time, if she got used to it, it could be a really helpful product for us," Jackie says.
There are also different attachments depending on the thickness of your dog’s hair, which is great!
Gretta also brought in two other viewers to test additional hair products—one for split-ends and one that's supposed to give men a haircut without going to a barber shop.
