Everyone knows actor Morris Chestnut (“The Best Man,” “Rosewood”) is smoking hot, but what you might not know is how he got that way.
Well, in case you were wondering, he didn’t just wake up with washboard abs one morning. He was working in New York City filming “Nurse Jackie” and had actually developed a pot belly, if you can believe it, when he got the call that he needed to be in the best shape of his life to play an athlete for the film “The Best Man Holiday.”
In came celebrity fitness and nutrition expert Obi Obadike, who helped Morris lose 33 pounds and pack on loads of muscle in only 12 weeks.

Now the pair have teamed up with a new book, The Cut, which can help you get into shape with a healthy diet and exercises you can do right at home. Check out a preview:

It’s not about a short-term fix though, it’s about a transformation. “We want to convey a way of life,” Morris says.
Want to get another peek at those abs? Morris promises that his shirt will be coming off for the season finale of FOX’s “Rosewood” later this month. But even though he has an amazing body, it hasn’t gone to his head. Obi says, “He is the most humble person I’ve ever met in my life.”
