This healthy twist on chocolate chip cookies is gluten-free thanks to almond flour, plus packs antioxidants from matcha green tea powder and dark chocolate. It comes from lifestyle expert Tommy DiDario, who covers men's fashion, grooming, travel, health, wellness and fitness for us. You can use regular dark chocolate chips or to keep this recipe dairy-free, Tommy likes to use Enjoy Life Vegan Dark Chocolate Morsels.

Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Whisk together coconut oil, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar and vanilla, if using, then spread over the ingredients. Fold until a smooth, slightly sticky batter forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
On a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, use clean hands to shape small balls of dough, pressed evenly into a cookie shape. (Note: the cookies won't expand very much during baking.) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, then cool for 20 minutes before serving.
