John shares a refreshing cocktail recipe inspired by a classic—the Greyhound—with an Italian twist.
He created this brunch-ready drink to pair with Rach's "bagel lab" recipes:
Moroccan Herb and Spice Bagels
Warm Artichoke and Spinach Bagels
Dill Pickle Cream Cheese Bagels
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces vodka
- 3 ounces grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- ½ ounce Campari
- Ice
- Grapefruit twist, for garnish
Yield
Serves: 1
Preparation
Add vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup and Campari to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with grapefruit twist.
