Fresh mango puree adds a tropical twist and vibrant color to John's spicy margarita, which he made to pair with Rach's Fish or Chicken Soft Tacos.

  • ½ fresno or jalapeño chile, seeded and chopped
  • 2 to 3 dashes kosher salt
  • 1 ounce fresh mango puree or juice
  • 2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur (John likes Cointreau) 
  • Ice


Serves: 1


Muddle chile slices and salt at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients, shake well with ice, then strain into ice-filled rocks glass.
